Evaluation rules
  • Upon registration on the day of arrival to the Competition, the Competitors will receive personal numbers which will be their identification during the competition;
  • The competitors are presented to the Jury exclusively by their personal numbers, without first and last name. Until the final results are announced, all records of competitors are kept in numbers;
  • Competitors basically compete in an international competition, which represents the actual ranking in the competition.
  • For competitors of Slovenian nationality, a list of results “Slovenian competition” is published. In accordance with the points achieved, a list of results “Categories combined” is also published. The expert jury, regardless of the number of points achieved, determines the winners of the competition: Gold winner, silver winner and bronze winner.
  • The Competitors will be judged by a Jury assembled from international and domestic recognized experts from the field of Ballet and Contemporary dance;
  • The Jury will judge on the rating sheets according to the criteria and rules prepared by Organizing Committee of the TUTU GRAND PRIX International Ballet & Choreography competition;
  • Competitors will be judged with points from 60 to 100. The highest and the lowest points given by the judges in the First as well as in the Final round will be erased. In case of duplication of the highest or lowest point, only one of those will be erased. The sum of the remaining points divided by the number of judges minus two represents the score of the individual round;
  • Minimum 75 points must be collected to enter the Finale round;
  • Points scored in the First round will be added to the points scored in the Final round and divided by two, which represents the final score;
  • The final score determines the final order and prizes. For competitors who do not qualify for the Final round, the order is determined by the number of points achieved in the First round, while competitors who qualify for the finals of the competition are ranked;
  • In case if two or more competitors reach the same number of points, the final order for first three places will be decided by the Jury;
  • The results after each round will be posted only on a web site tutugrandprix.com and on Slovenian ballet artists association’s and TUTU GRAND PRIX social networks up to three hours after the end of the single Category of the competition;
  • After the end of the First round, the Jury will allow the insight to the rating sheets, but only to the competitors that did not reach the Final round. The competitors that reached the Final round, will be alowed the same after the Final round. The insight to the rating sheets will be alowed only to the competitors and their mentors;
  • After the First round of the competition the personal numbers of those competitors who collected enough points for qualification to the Final round will be published without scored points. For those competitors who continue to the finals the number of points scored in the First round of the competition will be announced only with the results of the Finale round of the competition. The points scored after the First round of the Competition will be announced only for those competitors which did not collect enough points for qualification to the Finale round;
  • The decision of the Jury is final;
  • The decision of the jury may be objected only if there are valid and substantiated reasons that indicate non-compliance with the rules of the competition. In this case, an objection must be filed to the Organizing committee by e-mail on tutugrandprix@tutugrandprix.com no later than one hour after the publication of the results. The objection is considered as soon as possible by the Honorary Arbitration Court, which acts in accordance with the rules of the competition;
  • Organizing Committee of the TUTU GRAND PRIX International Ballet & Choreography competition determines a secretary of the Jury, that supervises the entry of the Jury assessments in the rating sheets and keeps the evidence of the assessments. The secretary of the Jury is only an administrative person, not a jury member;

  • The members of the Jury are obliged to respect the content of this rules;
